A new year is upon us. I'm feeling energetic and positive-this year is going to be great. I feel like I have the time to invest in Cheeky that I want to. This year I plan to work hard to get my jewelry in some local boutiques. As well as sell at some of the bigger street fairs. Possibly SF or more locally.
I found a new vendor that I am purchasing stones from. The quality is excellent.

Look for sales in the coming months. I plan to work on some special pieces for the upcoming Valentines holiday.

I hope you are all feeling festive. The holidays are upon us. Hot Chocolate, Fires, Candy Canes and all the rest of the things that mark the holiday spirit. What an exciting month, I just love this time of year. I love Fall and the cool crisp air. Along with all the warm tones and colors associated with these months. Beautiful stones.Smokey Quartz, Citrines and more.

If you've been to my website recenty you'll have noticed the variety of beautiful stones. As well as some additions with more gold pieces for the Fall/Winter months. I really love the color combo of the brown hued stones with gold. Rich and sexy.

I have some new pieces that were recently added. As well as more that will be added this week, longer gold chains (36 inches) as well as Sterling Silver Chains at the same length. Lots of fun details and charms and stones.

Hi Everyone,

I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the summer months. I know it has been awhile since my last post. I have been busy creating and searching about some beautiful stones. And enjoying the family and great weather.

With the end of summer coming, I have been moving into Fall looks. Today I listed some new pieces to complete your Fall look.

Think beautiful warm colors and versatile pieces. Expect more pieces in the next month.

Business at Cheeky is moving along. It's fun learning the ins and outs of being a small web based business owner. I am thankful for those around me in the business who have been helpful and shared their experience. I have been focusing on hosting home parties and having a blast. I love the feedback from clients and meeting people and seeing them wear my pieces. It's all very exciting to me.

Along with the parties I have been working on custom orders, which I love.

I'm also very excited to share that I will be featured on two "Style" sites in early October. I plan to post those links, once the date approaches.

June and counting

Hi everyone,

It's been awhile since my last update-about a month. Things are going well. I feel like I am starting to learn the ropes with advertising and working on reaching a bigger audience out there into the beautiful abyss of jewelry.

My stash of goodies has really grown and this helps when sitting down to create.(remember I am always open to commission a signature look for you) I have a lot of stones that I haven't been able to create with. I'm constanlty searching the oceans and mountains for beautiful, sparkly gems.

There will be a sale at Cheeky sometime in mid July. Think 30 percent off some designs. I feel it's time to send off some of my first designs with a big kiss and welcome new looks for Fall.

In July I will also be taking a "hand forged earrings" class. This is very exciting. For those of you who like the look of bigger and modern ear wires, you will love some of the new looks coming, once I have the technique mastered.

I really like the look of the hand forged metal bars on bracelets and necklaces also, so I am hoping to learn more about metals.

I can't believe it is already May. We have been moving right along over at Cheeky. Things have been going well and we have lots of lovely people stopping by to check out our goods.
Last week we hosted a contest at I'm Not Obsessed. Vera was so good to us and we had over 185 people enter the contest. With only one lucky winner, though. It was a lot of fun to read all your responses and nice wishes.

I hope you have been enjoying the new pieces. Right now I have a lot of fun stones and such to work with and only need more hours in the day to create. Lately, most of my efforts have been focused on the business side of Cheeky. (oh yes- and my family) We should have a shopping ready website up and running by early April. Custom Pieces
I've had some fun creating custom pieces. For one friend A, I created a piece (with her insight) for her high school age niece. The necklace(which-I forgot to get a photo of) was a beautiful pink organza necklace with mixed pink hued swarovski crystals and fresh water pearl.
Another customer recently requested a custom Lariat. Some of the most fun can happen when creating a custom piece for someone. If you see something you like, but wish it was on a different chain or with a different stone- ask and we'll see what we can create.

New Lines
Coming soon a children's line and a wedding line.

Trunk Shows
As more pieces are created I will be happy to host a trunk show at your home. Anywhere in the local bay area. Once the website is up and running I plan to host a opening event , so you can all come and try on the pieces.

On to the most important part-our new home. As you may know, this venture started as Little Black Dress Jewelry. Which, while I love the idea and tag line behind all of this. We ran into some copyright issues and hence *Cheeky Jewelry* was born. We are in the process of creating our website and expect to have a true shopping home in a few months.
